The “Thirty-Year Anniversary” of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO: an anniversary that represents an important milestone testifying to the stubbornness, vitality and importance of the Exhibition itself, which since its first edition has played a key role in the national scene in preserving and promoting craft traditions.
Thus proudly celebrates this important milestone ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO, which will celebrate the edition of the “Thirty Years” from September 13 to 15 at the Garden of Palazzo Corsini in Florence with a program between past, present, future and 100 new witnesses of the highest Italian and European craft tradition, suggesting to visitors the market trends and to exhibitors the concrete opportunity of new business opportunities.
New advertising campaign and logo for the 30th anniversary
TheSign Comics & Arts Academy of Florence collaborated on the design of the new advertising campaign and the creation of the 30th anniversary logo.
Florence City of Restoration
A project developed by the Florence Chamber of Commerce – whose operational activities are delegated to PromoFirenze – whose sponsors include CNA, ConfArtigianato, Legacoop and Confindustria
The theme of restoration is at the center of this edition of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO because of its objective cultural value and transmission of manual knowledge.
The main objective of the “Florence City of Restoration” project is to unite all the public and private players involved in the sector in order to arrive at the official creation of a regional district, and it will allow the best restorers and restoration companies, selected through a special call for proposals, to be housed in their own location in the spaces of the Scuderie di Palazzo Corsini.

303 (30 a cubo)is the title of the exhibition set up in the Limonaia “Focus” of the Corsini Garden, curated by Jean Blanchaert, based on a project by Studio Lavanguardia.

Starhotels exhibits at ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO the finalist works of the “LA GRANDE BELLEZZA” Award related to the theme “Souvenirs of the Grand Tour.“
An exceptional jury will identify the 10 finalist works that will be displayed in the enchantment of the monumental Loggia del Buontalenti in Palazzo Corsini and at the official opening of the exhibition on Sept. 13, the winner will be announced.

ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO organizers chose photographer Federico Minelli for the assignment to interpret Buontalenti’s Loggia built in 1591 with an original interpretation.
The result is two large color works-exhibited at the Loggia itself-and a series of images, in the “Manica Lunga,” that capture unexpected details of the monument, alternating with the results of the diagnostic campaign aimed at characterizing the materials and defining the degree of deterioration of the property.

FAMILY RECIPES
"Donna Giorgiana's Pantry: hints and snacks."
It is dedicated to Giorgiana Corsini ‘s recipes and her art of setting the table, the edition of “Family Recipes 2024.” For the occasion, in collaboration with food and wine journalist Annamaria Tossani, a small booklet will be produced with Giorgiana Corsini’s recipes accompanied by watercolor illustrations of the places and special occasions for which they were conceived.
PRIZES
“CR Florence Foundation Award. On the occasion of the Thirtieth Anniversary of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO, the leadership of the Fondazione CR Firenze will award the Prize to the individual who has distinguished himself or herself more than any other for the exceptional work done to make Florence a center of Italian restoration excellence, recognized throughout the world.
In addition, there is the “Perseus Award“-for the exhibitor most appreciated by the public-and the “Giorgiana Corsini Award” given by the Promoter Committee to the most beautiful booth, which awards the winner a complimentary space at the following year’s Exhibition.
MEETINGS AND DEBATES
A rich program of meetings, side events, guided tours, and free workshops open to visitors to discover, learn, and create will complete the 2024 Exhibition.
In addition, the Nun’s Garden will feature a selection of food trucks for breakfasts, lunches and appetizers.
“ABBRACCIA LALOGGIA DEL BUONTALENTI”
Fundraising 2024
On the strength of the first result of about 17,000 euros raised, fundraising continues this year to restore Palazzo Corsini’s architectural masterpiece the 17th-century Loggia del Buontalenti, classified as a “monumental asset” to be protected and safeguarded. Diagnostic investigations have already been carried out in order to then begin the restoration and conservation work that will affect the Loggia, the Fountain and the terrace above.
At ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO, the Loggia del Buontalenti has always been a meeting point: the “agorà” for craftsmen, visitors, authorities and institutions But that’s not all; in recent years it has been the stage reserved for artists, selected for their talent and generosity, who have the opportunity to exhibit in an extraordinary scenario where ancient and contemporary combine.
Once work has been completed, the Corsini Garden will be accessible free-of-charge to the public as per the indications set out in an agreement to be stipulated at a later date with the relevant bodies.
To support the “Embrace the Buontalenti Loggia” campaign, the organizers called upon Anglo-Norwegian artist Magnus Gjoen, who has created a limited, collectible series of “snowballs” (Ø 10 cm) inspired by late Renaissance and Baroque styles.
